Jamy Bechler is a professional speaker, author, podcast host, and leadership consultant who works with teams ranging from major corporations to the NBA. Before going into full-time leadership work, Jamy served for 20 years as a college basketball coach, professor and administrator. When he hung up the whistle, he didn’t stop coaching. Jamy just moved from the locker-room into the boardroom. He now travels the country motivating people and “coaching” organizations on how they can build championship teams and cultures.

Jamy left his last college as the winningest coach in program history. His 2014 team earned the national “Champions of Character” award. He then moved to the high school ranks to serve as an athletic director for two years. During his time there, the basketball team won the state championship, he transformed the department’s athletic budget and instituted student-athlete leadership training. As a student-athlete, he lettered in three different sports (football, basketball and track) while attending college.

Jamy’s passion for leadership and adding value to others led him to go through extensive training to be a John Maxwell certified leadership coach, teacher and speaker. John Maxwell has written more than 100 books and is considered the #1 leadership expert in the world. Jamy was taught by Maxwell and his teaching faculty and is authorized to teach Maxwell leadership principles. Jamy offers seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, aiding your personal and professional growth through study and practical application of John Maxwell’s proven leadership methods.

Jamy is a weekly guest on various radio shows, including an ESPN station in Wisconsin. His syndicated “Bechler on Business” segment is also aired daily on a number of radio stations, as well.
