Bay College has hired Bechler Leadership to help find its’ next head softball coach.
Bechler Leadership works with athletes and coaches to develop positive leaders, stronger cultures, and build better teams. The company was founded by Jamy Bechler in 2017.
“As a youngster growing up in Michigan, it was always a special treat to visit the U.P. with my family,” said Bechler. “The area is beautiful and the people are top-notch. The school and its athletic department have made huge strides in the last few years to invest in their facilities, scholarships, and people. This can be a good job. We’re excited to work with Bay College to help them find a softball coach that’ll build a strong competitive program.”
Bechler added, “We’ve been helping athletic departments and teams in the area of culture, teamwork, and leadership but that task is made easier if the right coach is hired in the first place,” said Bechler. “Having the right coach makes all the difference when it comes to developing, influencing, and mentoring student-athletes.”
Jamy Bechler is a former college basketball coach and high school athletic director. He is the author of seven books, hosts the “Success is a Choice” podcast, and developed TheLeadershipPlaybook.com online program.
Bay College added softball six years ago, but it’s only been in the last year that the head coaching position has become full-time.
