My wife’s dream car is a Jaguar.
You might want a Lamborgini, a BMW, or some kind of vintage car.
All of these expensive luxury cars need a spark plug to operate.
Without this little $5-$10 sparkplug, a $100,000 car is useless.
We might as well put it on blocks in the front yard.
Spark plugs have a very simple but crucial role. They provide the spark that ignites the fuel in the combustion chamber. Without working spark plugs, your engine – thus your car – will not run.
We all have the opportunity to be spark plugs on a daily basis. We can be a catalyst, supply energy, and provide a spark to something bigger than ourselves.
Just like a spark plug is seemingly insignificant compared to that big vehicle, so it is with us on our teams, at our jobs, in our church, at family functions, or out shopping.
However, the world around us needs a spark. They need a dose of positivity.
We can be the reason someone smiles today. Today, let’s be that spark plug in our community and in the world around us.
Let’s make things happen in a positive way. Be a spark plug!
